We fell in love with this black-and-white retro Maheshwari handloom saree during our first-ever live from Maheshwar. This Saree is so modern yet took us back to the 1980s. And when one of our customers, Saumya, styled this saree with her nath recently, we couldn't hold back drooling over it, all over again. So here it is, our first ever saree.

This saree has a white body with delicate black self-lines and comes with a plain black blouse featuring subtle self-work. The border includes silver zari leher work and a black Resham Narmada leher detail. It takes 3 days to weave this stunning saree.

OUR PRE-ORDER MODEL

Some of artisan products found immense love during our live shows, however, since artists only have 1 or 2 pieces with them, we were unable to take more than 2 orders for most items.

However, we decided to experiment and instead of selling from existing artisan
inventory, we decided to turn the process around and Ask you if you want to buy our most loved designs. If we get 15 people to pre-order this, I will partner with artisans to bring this design back and weave the piece especially for you.

The caveat!

We need at least 15 pre-orders to go into production, since that is the minimum number of sarees that need to be woven once the loom is set up with a particular design. If a design receives at least 15 pre-orders within the notified period, it goes into production. If not, your money isfully refunded within one week!

PRODUCT COLOR VARIATION

We've done our best to capture images that closely represent the actual product. However, sometimes due to rains and low sunlight, the lighting conditions are not ideal. While we try to edit the photos to reflect true colors, there may be slight variations in what you receive compared to what you see on screen.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Q: What’s your return policy?

Since this saree is especially made for you, there is no exchange or return available. However, if you get a defective piece or if we make an error and the customer notifies us within 24 hours of receiving the product, we will take the product back and issue a full refund.

Q: When will I receive my order?

We begin weaving these sarees once we have finished taking pre-orders. The estimated time to set up the initial loom and weave the first saree is about 7 days. You will have to wait around 15 days to receive this saree.
